First day of Cambodia – 28/11/2010 :D

Well , i must say this is a random post .
I just want to write down what i remember on the first day i went to cambodia (:

Arrived in Cambodia at evening .
Greeted by Mr Bunkao at the airport , seemed popular with the girls (:
But i later found out that he really is a nice person and owner of the wonderful guesthouse !
As usual , observed surroundings and such .
Cambodia’s ( phnom penh ) airport is rather simple and much different from our very own changi airport .
It didn’t have much shops or rather only 1 or 2 duty-free shops .
After taking our luggages and such , we boarded the bus to our location for dinner .
The place we had dinner had looked rather grand and we had an awesome dinner !
Had my first taste of cambodia food , hmm , still tastes asiany but has that thailand/vietnam food feeling , yeah .
Sat in a large table around team members which at that point of time , i wasnt close with them yet .
Haha , we had fun making musicals with our wine glasses , the whole table was doing it !
And haikal spilling almost everything , water & curry , haha
Hmm , the hotel was perhaps the most grand i saw in cambodia already i guess .
After dinner , i think we went to check in for our hotel (1night) .
Pacific hotel , 3-star , horrible .. had a bad feeling ever since we stepped into the hotel .
Looked very creepy and crammed .. and the room , didnt feel right .
So me , enghong , bryan spent the night at nifail’s room , 3 beds 6 ppl , haha !
It was only for one night , so it didn’t really matter .
After that , went to eat coconut ice-cream ? haha .
My first ice-cream at cambodia , hoho
Tasted rather good , and it was rather simple , let’s just say , 3 scoops of ice-cream in a coconut ? Accompanied by a glass of coconut juice (:
Not bad , but if i am not wrong , it cost $2-3 USD , which was rather expensive for the small quantity .
I guess that’s roughly my first day at cambodia , not bad i suppose , except for the hotel part , creepy stuff :p

I am like .. quite afraid that i cant really remember what happened each day in cambodia , cause life there was simply too stress-free !
But i think the more significant events .. i should be able to remember them , haha .
